The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.

Salary and Benefits
Starting Salary: Starting salary is $28.45 hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $36.34
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, vision, and TSA options
Benefit allowance: Up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58 for 2-party, $2,044.58 for family (includes medical, dental, life, vision, and TSA options)

Job Summary
Under the supervision of an administrator and as part of a team, assists in providing transition services for court and community school students; assists staff with recordkeeping, instructional assistance, interaction, and communication with students, staff, parents, guardians, and other agencies.

Qualifications
Any combination of training and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described; a typical qualifying background would include coursework in education, social sciences, psychology, criminal justice or related field; previous experience instructing/facilitating groups of youth or adults; experience in working with students who face challenges to their academic and social success.
