Meet one of California's rising legislative stars, Assemblymember Evan Low! Assemblymember Low is author of two 2016 bills in support of LGBTQ equality: 
 

• AB 1887 - Prohibits state-funded travel to states with laws that discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
   
• AB 1888 - Requires any institution participating in Cal Grant, California's educational grant program, to certify that they don't discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
